Sno-King Stump Grinding

Hi,

My name is Robert Loeder and I started Sno-King Stump Grinding in 1994 after years of fishing commercially in Alaska.

I also owned a landscaping company that focused on construction and installation projects in between my fishing trips and I remain an avid gardener to this day. My landscaping/gardening experience comes in handy when discussing a new job with my stump grinding clients because I can visualise the end result of their gardening or yard project.

The client’s plans for the area are important because whether they want to have a lush new lawn, put in fencing or plant a new tree has an impact on the target depth to which we need to grind  down the stump and remove roots.

I am always interested in learning why my clients want the stump ground out. As well as appealing to my gardening side, knowing what their plan is for that area, I am able to grind the stump to a target depth that insures their subsequent project will succeed.

Over the years, we have acquired the best stump grinding equipment available. But our mission has always remained the same: To always provide the same quality Stump Grinding service that I would want if I were the client.

As a family man myself; I am married with a son in college and two daughters in preschool, I know only to well that when jobs need doing in the garden or around the house, they need to be done right. The first time. Family safety depends upon it.

  1. I have used Sno-King Stump Grinding four times in the past ten years and after the first time I no longer get any other estimates. If you want a great price and prompt service, call Sno-King Stump Grinding. No one compares to his professional service. Thanks Robert!

  2. I Called Robert on Thursday and we made an appointment to meet on Tuesday morning at my lot. He was on time, professional, and courteous.. We settled on a fair price and he went to work. From start to finish he did 3 stumps (one quite large about 22 inches across with visable root above ground ) in one hour. I am very pleased. I would call him again.

  3. Hey Robert,
I am trying to get in touch with you so I know when and if you are still interested in doing my project. I would like you to do it!! The sprinkler/landscaping folks are good to go! Look forward to hearing back from you real soon!!! Thanks!

  4. Robert recently removed some Leyland Cypress stumps for us from an area with very, very tricky access. There were 10 stumps, several around 8″ in diameter, in a bed 2 feet wide and about 20 feet long with a cedar fence along one edge and a concrete patio along the other. It was fairly close to the house and there was a deck post in the way of getting a straight shot at it. This guy handled that big ol’ grinder like a surgeon with a scalpel. He took the stumps down to about 6″ below grade which was fantastic (we had expected to only get about an inch.) Absolutely no damage to the fence or patio and he cleaned up beautifully. Super-friendly and extra-careful guy who really knows his stuff. The only one I’ll ever call in the future.
